Your First Visit
Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is dedicated to providing you and your family with the highest level of dental care. We believe that it is very important to have a strong relationship with each of our patients based on trust and communication and are committed to providing positive experiences.
On your first visit, our Dentist, Hygienist, Dental Assistant, and Treatment Coordinators, will review your medical and dental history. We take the time to discuss any concerns you may have before moving onto digital x-rays and the tooth and gum examination. We will discuss and provide a personalized treatment plan based on your specific dental needs.
Following your first visit, you will have the chance to schedule your next appointment and discuss any costs and benefits with you.
Financing Information
Whether you are self pay or have dental insurance, at Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, we accept Sunbit, Care Credit, and Lending Club to ensure financial obligations don’t hold you back from a healthy smile. Questions about financing? We are here to help, contact us today!
Billing
At Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, we provide estimates to help you understand the cost of dental care at this office. We do collect at time service and request a reservation fee for procedures that are outside of routine check-ups. Sometimes, there is a remaining balance and we are happy to let you know that we provide statements via text message, email and paper bill. For your convenience you can pay your bill when a text or email is sent. We are also able to take a payment over the phone or by mail as well!
Insurance Information
At Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, we work with a wide variety of PPO dental insurances. For questions about a specific insurance or general insurance inquiries, please give us a call at 804-746-5327 and we will answer any insurance questions you may have. By providing us basic information about your policy, we can call the insurance carrier on your behalf and provide an estimate of coverage at this office. We file claims and necessary documents to the insurance company on behalf of the patient.
Insurance or Not
Our goal is to educate our patients about their dental care needs. By doing so, our patients can make an informed decision about treatment options. We provide an estimate with or without dental insurance coverage for any restorative needs. If you would like an estimate for routine preventative care we too can provide that after an initial exam is completed. Medicaid
We accept Medicaid insurance for individuals who are 20 years old and younger.
