Dr. Zac Strauss is a proud Virginia native and a U.S. Army veteran, having served during Operation Desert Shield/Storm.

Education & Early Career

Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with an emphasis in Medical Technology and a minor in Chemistry – Idaho State University

Worked at American Microsystems Incorporated in Idaho

Earned Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry (now VCU School of Dentistry) in 2005

Professional Experience

Practiced dentistry in several offices across Virginia

Purchased Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Mechanicsville in 2008

Provides gentle, comprehensive dentistry tailored to each patient’s needs and goals

Stays current with the latest dental treatments through continuing education courses and local dental study groups

Community Involvement

Volunteer at the Mechanicsville Christian Center Free Dental Clinic
